Schönes Design - modern. Kann mann Torten mitnehmen. 10:30 angekommen, leider Schinken und Käse war nicht mehr vorhanden, deswegen müssten wir nur Semmel mit butter und Marmelade essen. Bediener war nett, aber leider kann mann nicht mit der Karte zahlen..

In unserer aufgestylten High-Tech-Welt sehnt man sich nicht selten, zumindest mir geht es so, nach dem Ursprünglichen, dem Einfachen, dem rein Menschlichen - auch, was das Frühstück anbelangt, das, fernab von üppigen Buffets, die mit allerlei Sorten von Wurst und Käse und Eierspezialitäten einen morgens in den Hotels überfordern und vor die Qual der Wahl stellen, einfach nur gut, aber dennoch reichlich und preiswert sein sollte. Und gerade so etwas ist immer seltener anzutreffen. Bei meinen Streifzügen durch die "Frühstückwelt Salzburgs" wurde ich aber im Stadtteil Gnigl, in der Bachstraße fündig, was mich nun zu dieser Rezension veranlasst hat. Das Cafe Schober, mit eigener Bäckerei und Konditorei ist ein echtes "Kleinod der Backkunst", und ein kleines Frühstück schmeckt, aufgrund des Kaffees aus einer Salzburger Rösterei, und natürlich dank der hervorragenden Semmeln und Kipferl aus eigener Produktion, dort einfach phänomenal gut. Man spürt, mit wieviel Leidenschaft und Liebe hier gebacken wird. Alles kommt frisch auf den Tisch, und auch das weiche Ei ist wirklich weich, was heutzutage auch nicht selbstverständlich ist. Schön, gerade im Sommer, dass es hier auch leckeres Eis aus dem "Eiswerk" gibt... Die Kugel ist mit 1.60Euro durchaus bezahlbar, und das Eis ist wirklich köstlich. Die freundliche Bedienung des Chefs oder seiner Bediensteten runden das positive Bild ab. Vor der Bäckerei laden kleine Tische, ob im Schatten oder in der Sonne, zum Verweilen ein. Dank des geringen Verkehrsaufkommens in der Straße, wird man nicht wirklich durch den Autolärm belästigt. Besonders praktisch ist der große Parkplatz vor der Bäckerei, der ausschließlich Kunden vorbehalten ist. So entfällt die leidige Parkplatzsuche. Ich war nun das zweite Mal dort, und ich kann nur voll des Lobes ausrufen:"Es lebe das Backhandwerk!!" Und das Cafe Schober!!!
